Champion use cases
The first phase of ESDL was meant to offer a service to Earth System scientists: the provision of a versatile and simple-to-use laboratory, i.e. infrastructure and tools, to analyse the various data sets in the cube. With this at hand, users tackled a great variety of questions and came up with innovative applications. The opportunities were manifold and users’ approaches often surprised us, but provided valuable requirements that have driven the evolution of the laboratory made it even more useful for the future.
Four so-called Champion use cases were implemented in collaboration with distinguished experts to demonstrate the wide range of different approaches that may be adopted with the ESDL. Follow the links below to learn more about them!
